A man was arrested at a Windsor Locks motel for stealing another man's money and carrying an unlicensed gun.
WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A Windsor man was arrested on larceny and weapons charges last month, according to police. Tyrik Walcott, 18, was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, possession of more than 1/2 an ounce of marijuana, sixth-degree larceny, and interfering with an officer.
Police said that Walcott arranged to meet with a man in the parking lot of the Travelodge at 383 S. Center St. to sell a cell phone on June 22. The man gave Walcott $50 but Walcott left without giving the man the cell phone.
The man called police who tracked down Walcott. Upon his arrest, Walcott was found to be in possession of a Smith & Wesson P22 Walther concealed in a backpack.
