Frankfort Fire District Responded To 4,699 Calls In 2019

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Fire Protection District recently shared some statistics from its district for 2019. According to a post on its Facebook page, the district responded to 4,699 requests for service last year.

The busiest month for the district was August, which had 429 incidents, the district said. Responses were split pretty evenly among the district's shifts, with red shift with 1,588 responses, black shift with 1,560 responses, and gold shift with 1,551 responses.

The busiest time of the day for the district was the 11 a.m. hour, the district said.

Not only did the district provide services to Frankfort, but it also gave mutual aid to other agencies 549 times, the district said.

As far as fires in 2019, the district responded to 80 structure fires and 15 vehicle fires. The total fire loss is an estimated $774,762.
