Frankfort Home Featured On Southwest Builders Tour Of Homes

FRANKFORT, IL — Builders from across the southwest suburbs will showcase new construction at the Southwest Suburban Home Builders Association's Tour of Homes. Homes across the southwest suburbs will be featured, including new construction in Frankfort.

The tour will be held Sept. 14-15 and Sept. 21-22. There will be 19 homes on the tour, including townhomes, single-family homes, and duplexes, according to a release.

In Frankfort, Putman Builders new construction at 22358 Majestic Lane, in Frankfort Meadows will be on the tour.

“We’re just really trying to promote the Tour of Homes name and keep growing the event to have it be a name people know and an event people look forward to each year,” said Shannon Rocha, executive director of the SSHBA. “We really want the public to be able to see what our SSHBA members do.”

For those who have not previously attended the tour but are looking for a new home, Rocha assures that they need not be intimidated by the prospect of buying a new home; it is just as easy as purchasing a preexisting home, she said in a release.

“It’s just a really good way for our members to be promoted to the public,” Rocha said. “ ... They see the value of how many people are coming to visit.”
