Frankfort Hosts Open House Tours Of Village Facilities

There will be an Open House Tour of various village facilities on Wednesday, May 22 from 5 to 7 p.m.

FRANKFORT, IL — The village of Frankfort will hold an Open House Tour of various village facilities on Wednesday, May 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. The guided tour will highlight the Frankfort Village Administration building, police department, regional wastewater treatment plant, and standpipe and Utilities/Public Works facility.

The village said guided tours will be available every 10 minutes from 5 to 7 p.m. at these locations:

  • Village Administration Building – 432 W. Nebraska Street
  • Police Department – 20602 Lincoln-Way Lane
  • Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant – 20538 Lincoln-Way Lane
  • Standpipe – 8847 W. Lincoln Highway
  • Utilities/Public Works Facility – 524 Center Road

Refreshments will be available at the Village Administration Building. Visitors are welcome to visit
all five facilities, or choose just one location. Transportation will not be provided to
the sites.

“We invite residents to view the facilities and equipment they own. We encourage residents to
ask questions of our staff during the tours. We expect the evening to be both informative and
fun,”Frankfort Mayor Jim Holland said in a release.
