Frankfort Splash Park: Hours and Closings

The splash park will close for the season on Aug. 31.

FRANKFORT, IL — Now that summer has arrived, the Frankfort Park District's Splash Park is open for the season. Kids of all ages can cool down at the splash park located at Commissioners Park, 22108 S. 80th Ave.

Admission to the park is $1 per resident child and $2 per non-resident child. Wristbands can be purchased at the concession stand. The park district said parents or guardians over 21 won't be charged admission.

Admission is first-come, first-serve. There are multiple sessions throughout the day and there is a limit of 60 patrons per session. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday; session 1 from 10 a.m. to noon; session 2 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and session 3 from 3 to 5 p.m.

On Saturday and Sunday, session 1 is from 10 a.m. to noon and session 2 is from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

  • On June 17, July 15, Aug. 12 for maintenance
  • For Independence Day (July 4)
  • If temperatures fall below 70 degrees.
  • If there is threatening weather or lightning.

The splash park will close for the season on Aug. 31.
