No Power For Hundreds In Frankfort Because Of Blizzard

No electricity can mean no heat. Find out where village residents can go to stay warm.

FRANKFORT, IL — Hundreds of Frankfort ComEd customers are without power after a snowstorm rolled through the area Sunday night and early Monday. The village outages are part of a string of outages around the Chicago area that power company is blaming on the severe weather.

Nearly 1,000 customers in multiple areas around the village were without power Monday morning, according to ComEd. Although the cause of the outages is being attributed to the blizzard, the power company is still assessing the damage and don't have an estimate on when power will be restored.

Residents without power — and heat — can go to the following warming centers in Frankfort and the surrounding communities.
