Over 1,100 Without Power In Frankfort

Crews were being scheduled to check out the outages, and an estimated restoration was listed as late as 11 p.m. Sunday.

FRANKFORT, IL — Over 1,100 people are without power in Frankfort on Sunday morning after severe storms hit the area. According to the ComEd Outage Map, 1,105 customers were without power as of 10:30 a.m. The map said crews were being scheduled, and an estimated restoration was listed as late as 11 p.m. Sunday.

Hundreds of flights were also canceled due to the storms. At O'Hare, 354 flights were canceled, and 42 were canceled at Midway as of 9:30 a.m.

In total, ComEd was also reporting more than 27,000 customers with power outages across the state as of just after 9 a.m.
