Winter Carnival Canceled, Rescheduled In Frankfort
The event has been rescheduled for 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23.
FRANKFORT, IL — Due to the predicted cold temperatures for Sunday, Jan. 19, the Winter on the Green Winter Carnival has been canceled. The event has been rescheduled for 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23.
The village said the carnival will include a DJ, carnival games, crafts and a visit from Frosty the snowman. The event is sponsored by the village of Frankfort and Frankfort Park District, and will be held at Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort.
