Annapolis Kids Jump Teenager, Steal His Coat: Police

The Annapolis police have arrested five juveniles on charges stemming from the robbery of a local teenager on Monday afternoon.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Annapolis police are investigating a robbery Monday afternoon in which five youths attacked a teenager and stole his coat. The five were arrested and charged as juveniles, the police said.

The attack occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Monday on Forest Drive at Youngs Farm Road, according to a police report.

A 15-year-old boy told police that he was walking in the area when five other boys knocked him to the ground and stole his coat.

The five juveniles, all from Annapolis, included one 11-year-old, two 12-year-olds, one 13-year-old and one 14-year-old, the police said. They were charged on juvenile citations with robbery and released to their guardians.

Following standard practice, the police did not release the names of the five juveniles.
