ANNAPOLIS, MD — When tracking down the man who robbed a woman Jan. 7 and took her purse, Annapolis police officers found Troy Bynum, 30, of Glen Burnie in an apartment with that purse. Officers also learned that Bynum had an active arrest warrant for using a credit card stolen during a burglary. He's since been charged with robbery and five other related charges, according to the Annapolis Police Department.

Bynum struggled with the woman over her purse in the 1200 block of Boucher Avenue Tuesday. She fell to the ground during the altercation, which gave him the opportunity to snatch it and run off. Bynum is being held without bond.
