ANNAPOLIS, MD - From The City of Annapolis: The City of Annapolis Mayor’s office will host the first “Safe Spring Break” event at “Pip” Moyer Recreation Center during Anne Arundel County Public Schools’ Spring Break 2019: April 18, 19 and 20. The initiative will provide a safe space for children during the break from school, but will also provide enriching activities.

“We recognize that a lot of parents work and don’t have paid leave, or don’t have the ability to afford day care when school is out,” said Mayor Gavin Buckley. “We have a great space at Pip Moyer and the resources to provide a safe space for families in our community. I urge parents and caregivers to sign up for one, two or all three days.”

Safe Spring Break is free and includes lunch and refreshments.
