Anne Arundel Malls Celebrate Holidays With Santa Claus And More

Here's what's happening in Anne Arundel shopping malls during the Christmas holidays: extra hours, photos with Santa, other events.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The holidays are here, and shopping malls in Anne Arundel County are celebrating the Christmas season with extended hours and special events, like taking photos with Santa Claus. Here's a roundup:

WESTFIELD ANNAPOLIS MALL, 2002 Annapolis Mall

Shopping Hours

  • Through Thursday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • The hours will be extended to 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Friday, Dec. 14, through Sunday. Dec. 23.
  • On Christmas Eve (Monday, Dec. 24), the mall will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will be closed on Christmas Day.
  • The mall will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26.
  • It will be open from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, through Sunday, Dec. 30.

Holiday Photos with Santa

  • 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday (Santa Claus feeds his reindeer from 1 to 2 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m. daily)
  • 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays, with a break from 2 to 3 p.m.
  • 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve (Monday, Dec. 24)

Winter Wonderland Exhibition

10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. through Jan. 3. The Visual Arts Office of Anne Arundel County Public Schools is partnering with Westfield Annapolis for the Winter Wonderland Exhibition of elementary school winter-themed artwork. The exhibition will showcase almost 200 pieces of artwork and will be on display in the north corridor between Z Gallerie and Starbucks.

Shopping Hours

  • 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday
  • 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday

Third Thursday Pub Run

Charm City Run, a running/walking specialty shoe store in the Annapolis Towne Centre, will host the Third Thursday Pub Run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 20. The guided run will start and end at the store, at 1910 Towne Centre Blvd., Suite 120.

Once everyone runs a few miles, the participants will head over to a pub in the Towne Centre. All levels and paces are welcome. For more information on Charm City Run, please click here.

Photos With Santa

  • 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday
  • 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday (break from 3 to 4 p.m.)
  • 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday (break from 2 to 2:45 p.m.)

Holiday Train Garden (through Dec. 31)

  • 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday
  • 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday

Bring the whole family to visit the magical train garden, a display of model trains, toy cars, miniature houses and many more delights. Please bring a non-perishable food item to help support the North County Emergency Food Bank. Monetary donations are also accepted.
