Armed Men Surround Vehicle, Assault Man: Police

Seven men, three who were armed, ordered a man and a woman out of their vehicle in Annapolis and assaulted the man, then stole the car.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man and a woman were sitting inside a vehicle Monday night at approximately 7 p.m. in the 200 block of Croll Drive when they suddenly were surrounded by seven men; two were armed with handguns and another had a shotgun. The men ordered the man and woman out of the vehicle and then rummaged through the man's pockets. The suspects then began hitting him.

The victim took off running to a nearby residence for help. One of the suspects hopped into the vehicle and when Annapolis police officers arrived on the scene, the vehicle had been stolen. According to the Annapolis Police Department, it eventually was located abandoned on Mini Ct. The suspects were nowhere to be found. The man suffered several injuries and the woman was uninjured.
