Arnold Man Arrested For Possessing $24K In Drugs: Police

Anne Arundel County officers have charged an Arnold man police say possessed more than $24,000 worth of drugs.

ARNOLD, MD — An Arnold man was arrested at a home in the 600 block of Southern Hills Drive Aug. 16 after a warrant executed by the Anne Arundel County narcotics and special enforcement team reportedly turned up more than $24,000 worth of drugs.

Police say the search yielded seizure of the following:

  • 122.21 grams of cocaine (estimated street value $12,221)
  • 454.88 grams of marijuana (estimated street value $9,177)
  • 79.58 grams of psilocybin mushrooms (estimated street value $2,785)
  • 12 Oxycontin pills
  • Cutting agents/paraphernalia (powder inositol, powder caffeine, bags, empty gel capsules, scale)
  • An undisclosed amount of cash
  • 2009 Jeep Cherokee

Benjamin Paul Freeman, 34, was arrested and charged with possession of CDS - marijuana, cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms and oxycontin, and possession of CDS with intent to distribute - marijuana, cocaine and psilocybin mushrooms, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
