Legacy Temporary Parking Permits Bought Before July 1 Now Invalid

Legacy temporary parking permits issued before July 1, 2019, for Annapolis residents are no longer valid effective as of Jan. 1, 2020.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Residents who live in zoned parking districts with legacy temporary parking permits purchased before July 1 are reminded that the permits are no longer valid. Vehicles still displaying legacy temporary permits will be issued a citation.

Ordinance O-4-19, enacted by the City Council on April 29, 2019, applies expiration dates to temporary parking permits issued on or after July 1, 2019. Under the ordinance, a maximum of 10 single-day permits may be purchased each month by residents of the residential parking districts in which they reside, and those permits expire at the end of each month.
