Man Arrested Twice In Same Day For Trying To Enter Cars: Police

Annapolis Police arrested Cristian Arrue Palencia, 20, for attempting to break into cars twice on Jan. 16 and for having drugs on him.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A 20-year-old Annapolis man was arrested twice in the same day after trying to break into five vehicles along Damsel Lane, Silopanna Road and Carrollton Avenue at two different times Jan. 16. Neighbors reported seeing the man attempting to open car doors in the 3 a.m. hour, but he took off when officers approached him; however, they were able to apprehend him.

Cristian Arrue Palencia, 20, of Annapolis was charged with five counts of rogue and vagabond, as well as possession of CDS after police found CDS in his pocket upon his arrest. He then was released. But Palencia was arrested after 9 a.m. that same day after trying to break into cars again. He was arrested and charged with rogue and vagabond a second time.
