Men Arrested For Gambling, Carrying Loaded Handgun: Police

Annapolis police officers found five men gambling outside who took off when approached. One had a loaded handgun on him; four were arrested.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Two men were charged with gambling and another for carrying a loaded handgun Jan. 2 in Annapolis. Officers found five suspects playing an illegal game of chance. As officers approached them, they all took off but four were stopped.

Collin Flannigan, 23, of Annapolis was carrying a loaded handgun and was charged with trespassing and three counts relating to carrying the handgun. The other three men, Nathaniel Gross, 34, Vincent Jones, 27, and Akeem Howard, 24, all of Annapolis also were arrested. Gross was charged with trespassing, Jones with trespassing and gambling, and Howard with gambling, trespassing and disorderly conduct.
