Power Outage Prompts Annapolis City Council To Reschedule Meeting

Storms caused power outages in the area, which led the city council to reschedule its regular meeting to June 3.

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The regular meeting of the Annapolis City Council that was to be held May 28 has been rescheduled for Monday, June 3. There was a widespread power outage May 28 due to severe storms in the area that caused disruptions in the greater Annapolis area, including the early dismissal of students at Annapolis High School.

The Annapolis City Council usually meets on the second Monday of every month at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 160 Duke of Gloucester St. City council chambers are located on the second floor. An agenda has not yet been released for the rescheduled meeting.
