Residents Should Get Vehicles Out Of City Garages Tonight

Annapolis officials thanked residents for staying off emergency snow routes, and now cars need to be out of city garages.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Annapolis officials thanked residents for staying off emergency snow routes, and now cars need to be out of city garages. Mayor Gavin Buckley said the City of Annapolis is proud to offer the use of city garages at no charge to Annapolis residents during the winter storm. But as the winter weather improves, standard garage rates will be reinstated at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20.

The garages are currently open. To exit from Knighton Garage (1A Colonial Avenue), simply drive out; the gates are open. To leave Hillman Garage (150 Gorman Street), visit the garage office to receive a validation ticket. To exit from Gotts Garage (25 Northwest Street), visit the booth next to the pay station (on the Calvert Street side) to receive a validation ticket.

After 7 p.m. Wednesday, vehicles not removed will be charged.
