Spring Fling Scholarship Fundraiser In Annapolis Canceled

The Annapolis P.D.'s Spring Fling scholarship fundraiser originally was rescheduled due to the coronavirus, but now has been canceled.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Annapolis Police Department's scholarship fundraiser Spring Fling has been canceled. It was originally scheduled for March 18, then rescheduled to June 11 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Since 2017, the Annapolis Police Department has awarded 14 scholarships to high school seniors from across Annapolis. The goal of the scholarship program is to assist current graduating seniors that reside in Annapolis. To be eligible for a scholarship, students are to have a 2.7 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
