Twins Arrested For Thefts, Anne Arundel Police Seek Other Victims
Twins Jason and Jared Nixon with Nixon Brothers Painting have been arrested for a series of thefts; police believe there are more victims.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Anne Arundel County Police Department is asking the public to come forward if anyone hired twin brothers Jason or Jared Nixon, 40, to paint their home or for any similar service and happen to be missing personal belongings.
On Jan. 9, officers launched an investigation into a theft that had occurred in the Annapolis area. Detectives determined that Jason and Jared Nixon were responsible for the incident and believe that there are other victims. They have linked the brothers to other thefts that have occurred over the past several years, according to a department police report.
Jason and Jared Nixon market themselves as painters, then once they enter the home under that pretense, they steal jewelry, electronics and power tools, police said.
