Underage Drinkers Arrested At Annapolis Establishments: Police

Detectives with the Annapolis P.D. cited several underage drinkers at local businesses with fake IDs.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Detectives with the Annapolis Police Department conducted checks for underage patrons frequenting businesses that sell alcohol Jan. 4. The department had received several complaints about underage drinkers at these establishments, a report stated.

At one bar located in the 100 block of Main Street, three 19-year-old women from Arnold were drinking alcohol. Two of the women had fake driver's licenses and the third had a driver's license that belonged to someone else. Police issued civil citations for having false documentation with the intent to obtain alcohol while under 21 years old.

At another bar in the unit block of Dock Street, four suspected underage people were identified entering and attempting to enter the bar. Two 18-year-old men from Severna Park, a 17-year-old man from Millersville and a 17-year-old girl from Odenton were all found to be in possession of fake driver’s licenses. The two-17-year-olds were released to their guardians. The two 18-year-olds were issued civil citations for possessing false documentation with the intent to obtain alcohol while under 21 years old.
