MARYLAND — Due to potential Listeria contamination, Wegmans has recalled several citrus products. Lemons and oranges are included in the recall. So are a variety of store-made items that contain fresh lemon because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria.

The affected products were sold at Wegmans stores in Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina and New York.

The produce was supplied to Wegmans by Freshouse Produce LLC of Salisbury, North Carolina, which issued a voluntary recall after the company's internal testing identified Listeria monocytogenes on a piece of equipment in one of its packing facilities, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
