More Concord Residents Earning $1 Million Or More
The number of Concord residents reporting income of $1 million or more increased 16.3 percent in 2017.
CONCORD, MA — There were 364 Concord residents who reported adjusted gross income of $1 million or more in 2017, the most recent year for which data is available. That was up 16.3 percent from 313 in 2016, according to Massachusetts Department of Revenue data.
According to the Boston Business Journal, which first reported this story, a strong economy and stock market saw a statewide increase in the number of million-dollar earners in 2016. Statewide, there were 18,090 million-dollar filers in 2017, up 12 percent from 2016.
