Powerball Drawing's Only $1M Ticket Sold In Massachusetts
Thinking about playing tonight's Powerball? Last weekend's only $1M winner was sold in a Massachusetts 7-Eleven.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Days before the biggest Powerball jackpot in months, lottery officials were still unsure of who a $1 million Powerball winner was.
Last Saturday night's drawing was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 89 Pleasant St. in Marblehead. Lottery officials told Patch on Wednesday the winner had not come forward, and there has been no update since.
The winning numbers for Jan. 11's drawing were 3 21 23 31 59, and the Powerball was 3. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.

The Massachusetts winner was the only million-dollar winner in the country. If the person had hit the Powerball number, that person would have won an estimated $277 million with a cash option of $188.4 million.
The jackpot has since risen to $321 million with a cash option of $218.7 million for Saturday, Jan. 18.

The jackpot is its highest since June 1, when a $344.6 million prize was won in North Carolina. It last hit Nov. 2, when a $150 million prize was won in California.
