Judge Sets Bail At $100,000 For Accused Salem Drug Dealers

"You're [expletive deleted] kidding me, " Jessica Cote, 35, said after hearing the judge's bail order.

SALEM, MA -- A judge set bail at $100,000 for a man and a woman accused of dealing heroin out of their Salem home. Eric Jalbert, 30, and Jessica Cote, 35, both of 14 Gardner Street in Salem, were charged with trafficking in heroin and possession with intent to distribute and pleaded not guilty Tuesday. The two were arrested Friday after police executed a search warrant and found an ounce and a half of heroin.

According to the Salem News, which first reported this story, police learned of the drug dealing operation through a confidential informant. After making a series of purchases through the informant, Salem Police obtained the search warrant.
