WESTON, MA — Weston's annual Concert on the Green series was canceled. The town announced the cancellation on Wednesday — the series was scheduled to start in mid-June. The event was canceled over concerns about the possible spread of the coronavirus.

"The outdoor gathering cannot be conducted in a safe manner, per state guidelines," the town said in a statement.

The series was scheduled to be held at the Field School’s outdoor amphitheater due to the Town Center construction. The ice cream social that follows the event was also canceled.
