'The Gnome' In St. Paul Set To Open Tuesday
Changes to the St. Paul space on Selby Avenue include an expanded patio with an outdoor bar.
SAINT PAUL, MN — The Gnome, originally opened in 1882 as Engine Company No. 5 and later as The Happy Gnome, will officially open its doors Tuesday as a pub and beer hall.
The Gnome will feature a daily happy hour, offering $3 select drafts, house wine and well cocktails. The menu will feature European roasted and shaved meats, refined sandwiches and a cheese experience including build-your-own charcuterie boards and table-side raclette.
The beverage menu will feature over 100 drinks on tap including craft and local beer, wine, cocktails, soda and cold brew coffees along with tiki cocktails, according to a news release.

Changes to the St. Paul space located at 498 Selby Avenue include an expanded patio with outdoor bar, redesign to the main floor and a reimagined beer hall and event space upstairs with games and other activities.
The Gnome will open the patio only from Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Reservations at thegnomepub.com are encouraged.
