10 Arrested In Downtown Concord ‘Granite Shield’ Drug Raid

Concord police said officers raided residences on Rollins Street after receiving complaints about drug activity from neighbors.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and the Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit arrested 10 people last week during a drug raid on Rollins Street. Lt. Sean Ford, the commander of the criminal investigations division of the Concord Police Department, said investigators received "numerous complaints" from area residents claiming drug usage and activity in the area of 5 Rollins St. and 6 Rollins St. The raid was a continuation of the statewide "Operation Granite Shield" program to address narcotics abuse and trafficking in the Concord region, he added.

“In recent months, Concord Police have responded to numerous incidents in the area related directly or indirectly to drug activity,” Ford said.

Arrested during the raid on April 12, 2019, included Helmi Ryan, 46, of Concord, pictured upper left, on two felony warrants for sale of a controlled drug; Cory Porter, 34, of Concord, lower right, on possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute-heroin/fentanyl and four counts of possession of a controlled drug-crack, heroin, methamphetamine, and suboxone), all felonies, and Nathan Bond, 40, of Chichester, center, on three felony counts of sale of a controlled drug warrant.

Also arrested were Logan Locke, 21, of Northfield, middle left; Katie White, 25, of Concord, upper right; Cory Decato, 34, of Danbury, lower middle; Shane Demers, 28, of Pembroke, lower left; Rebecca Taylor, 31, of Concord, middle right; and (name removed); were all charged with felony possession of a controlled drug.

All were scheduled to be arraigned in Merrimack County Superior Court.

Christopher Holland, 22, of Concord, pictured lower far right, was also arrested on a breach of bail charge. He was released on personal recognizance bail and is due back in court on June 3.

According to Ford, the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office also assisted with the raid. He added that police were appreciative of tips and information from the public that assisted them with the operation.
