3-Vehicle Crash Reported On Perley Street In Concord

A truck crashed into 2 parked vehicles and a utility pole, knocking out power to 200 Unitil customers near St. John the Evangelist Church.

CONCORD, NH — Another day, another crash in the southern part of Concord. A police officer on patrol in Downtown Concord came upon a three-vehicle crash on Perley Street next to St. John the Evangelist Church, Christ the King Parish, at just before 5 p.m. Saturday. A Chevy pickup reportedly drove into two parked vehicles, a Honda CR-V and a Toyota Highlander.

During the process of striking the parked vehicles, a utility pole was also struck, knocking out power to around 200 Unitil customers. Power was out for about an hour but has since been restored, according to Unitil's outage map.

A witness told Concord dispatch that there was a spark from the pole after it was struck, according to scanner chatter. Firefighters called Unitil to the scene after arriving, so utility crews could repair the pole, an officer said.
