Accused Barrington Child Rapist Indicted On 11 Counts: Court

Accused Northfield burglar indicted on 2 charges; prisoner indicted on assault charge; Loudon man indicted on drug, stolen vehicle charges.

CONCORD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Merrimack County Superior Court.

Darpan Kirat Rai, 37, pictured upper left, of Barrington, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, on nine counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault, and felonious sexual assault, all felonies. Between April 1, 2008, and Aug. 31, 2009, he is accused of sexually assaulting and fondling a girl at the time in Boscawen, Bow, and Concord.

Kevin Redington, 47, of Lita Lane in Newmarket, on a felony operating while deemed a habitual offender charge on April 21, 2019, on Hooksett Road in Hooksett.

Kevin Smith, 36, of the New Hampshire State Prison for Men in Concord, on a felony assault by a prisoner charge – punching and kicking another man – on Sept. 20, 2018.

Matthew Saviano, 26, of Birch Street in Sandown, on a felony reckless conduct charge. On March 11, he is accused of driving his vehicle on Dover Road in Chichester "at a high rate of speed, crossing the double yellow center line in order to pass on a hill," and crashing into another vehicle.

Deshon J. Stone-Davis, 24, upper right. of Range Road in Loudon, on three counts of possession of a narcotic drug-fentanyl, methamphetamine, acetyl-fentanyl-cocaine-heroin mix, two counts of receiving stolen property, and a falsifying physical evidence charge, all felonies. On April 18, in Bow, he is accused of being in a stolen Saab 9-3 and dropping drug bags in a merchandise display at the Circle K after police made contact with him. At the time, Stone-Davis was out on bail on another charge. Previously, according to the indictment, he has been convicted of theft in January and December 2016, in Merrimack County Superior Court.

Waldemar Sint, 34, of Route 4 in Danbury, on possession of a controlled drug-methamphetamine and falsifying physical evidence charges, both felonies. On April 13, in Danbury, he is accused of throwing a glass pipe into the road after Danbury police made contact with him.

Steven C. Shelby, 29, of Short Falls Road in Epsom, on a felony possession of a narcotic drug-buprenorphine charge on Dec. 1, 2018, in Concord.

Wayne Smith, 44, upper center, homeless, on theft by unauthorized taking – items from Best Buy – and possession of a controlled drug-methamphetamine-subsequent charge on April 25, in Concord. Previously,according to the indictment, he was convicted of forgery and possession of a controlled drug in Belknap County Superior Court in April 2017, and theft in Concord District Court in November 2017.

Eugene Sandsbury, 43, of Whitten Street in Allenstown, on two counts of possession of a narcotic drug-fentanyl, crack cocaine, on March 3, in Hooksett.

Brennan Szanto, 31, middle left, of Summer Street in Northfield, on two felony burglary charges after incidents on Bean Hill Road in Northfield on April 9.

Rebecca M. Santy, 36, lower left, of River Road in Bow, on controlled drug act; acts prohibited-morphine and delivery of articles prohibited. On April 23, she's accused of being in possession of morphine at the Merrimack County House of Corrections.
