Belmont Man Dies After Crash On Concord Drive In Webster

Adam Liesner, a passenger in an SUV that crashed Sunday, died. Boscawen, Concord women were also injured. No charges have been filed.

WEBSTER, NH — A Belmont man, who was a passenger in an SUV accused of speeding away from police in Webster, was killed after crash on Concord Drive Sunday.

Around 11:40 a.m., an officer saw a 2005 Chevrolet Blazer being driven by Elizabeth Fraser, 39, of Concord perform a motor vehicle violation, according to Staff Sgt. Steven Wheeler of Troop D.

"As the officer began to turn around and initiate a motor vehicle stop, the vehicle sped off," Wheeler said. "As the officer crested the hill, he observed that the same vehicle had failed to negotiate a curve in the road, left the roadway, and struck a tree."

Fire and rescue teams were called to scene to assist and found Adam Liesner, 31, of Belmont, a passenger in the rear of the SUV, had been killed, Wheeler said.

Fraser sustained "serious bodily injuries" and was taken to Concord Hospital, he added. Another passenger, Caitlyn Cote, 28, of Boscawen was also taken to the hospital.

Webster police requested the state police's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit to investigate the crash and the road was closed for several hours. State police were assisted by Webster police, Webster fire and rescue, and Boscawen police.

"At this time it appears that speed was a factor in this crash however all aspects remain under investigation," Wheeler added.
