CONCORD, NH — Police are investigating a possible drive-by shooting in Concord's West End earlier this month on Gladstone Street. Limited information is available due to the case being an open investigation but Det. Robert Buelte of the Concord Police Department confirmed to Patch Wednesday that there was an incident on the street on Jan. 5. Buelte said investigators hoped to have a resolution to the case soon.

According to scanner chatter, police were sent to the area around 11:30 p.m. for a report of shots fired. Sources told Patch two people who live on the street were walking when they observed a vehicle traveling slowly toward the end of the dead-end street. The vehicle then turned around. One of the walkers reported hearing multiple shots, the walkers then ran for cover, and the vehicle took off towards Franklin Street. The case may involve juveniles, according to one of the sources.

Officers arrived quickly and a detective was also called to the street to gather evidence early Monday morning, according to dispatchers. One bullet went through a window of one of the homes on the street, according to a source.
