Concord Felon Admits To Gun Charges
Concord's Nathaniel Carr, who has a long rap sheet, admitted to possessing guns and ammunition.
CONCORD, NH -- A Concord man with a long rap sheet pleaded guilty to more charges in a gun case this week. Nathaniel Carr, 24, admitted to unlawful possession of guns and ammunition. Carr is prohibited from possessing weapons due to his criminal history.
Carr was arrested August 1 after a Concord police officer pulled over his Chevrolet Trailblazer for having expired plates. The officer found a .22 caliber revolver and ammunition in the vehicle, according to New Hampshire U.S. Attorney Scott Murray. Police said they found another gun -- a .38 caliber pistol -- and more ammunition at Carr's residence.
"As a previously-convicted felon, Carr is prohibited by federal law from possessing firearms or ammunition," Murray said in a statement. "Keeping guns out of the hands of criminals is necessary in order to keep our community safe."
