Framingham Man Dies After Crash With A Truck In New Hampshire
State police: Anthony Ortega, 23, died after a near head-on collision with a tractor-trailer truck Saturday on Route 2 in Randolph.
CONCORD, NH — A Massachusetts man died Saturday after a nearly head-on crash with a tractor-trailer in Randolph, according to New Hampshire State Police. Troopers were sent to a report of a serious motor vehicle accident on Route 2 at around 2:45 a.m. The crash was between a sedan and a tractor-trailer truck.
According to investigators, Anthony Ortega, 23, of Framingham, was traveling east on Route 2 when he collided nearly head-on with the tractor-trailer, that was driving west. The truck was driven by a 50-year-old man from Bellows Falls, Vermont.
"As a result of the crash, Ortega sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene," said Lt. Gary Prince of Troop F. "The investigation is ongoing and all factors are being considered to determine the exact cause of the crash."

The road was closed for around four hours during the investigation.
State police were assisted by Randolph, Gorham, and Jefferson fire departments, Randolph police, and the Office of the State Medical Examiner.
