Hooksett Police Investigating Accident, Medical Examiner On Scene

HOOKSETT, NH — Hooksett police, firefighters, EMS and the Tri-Town ambulance responded to Hooksett Road near Legends Drive for a two-vehicle accident at 10:20 a.m. Saturday.

Hooksett police said a Chevrolet Aveo had lost control and collided with a GMC Yukon traveling in the opposite direction. The 62 year old male operator of the Chevrolet was pronounced deceased on the scene. The 47 year old female operator of the GMC was transported to the hospital with apparent minor injuries.

The crash is still under investigation and anyone with further information is asked to contact Officer Bergeron at 603-624-2560 ext. 322.

The road was reduced to one lane for several hours but is now open to the regular traffic pattern.
