Londonderry Man Charged With DWI After Crash In Concord

CONCORD, NH — A Londonderry man was arrested on a drunken driving charge Sunday after a crash on Interstate 93 South in Concord, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Troopers from Troop D were sent to the interchange of I-93 and I-393 around 2:30 a.m. for a report of a crash. When they arrived, they found both lanes of the southbound side of the highway blocked by a hatchback with extensive damage.

The driver, Dylan M. Lally, 21, of Londonderry was found to have minor injuries and was taken to Concord Hospital, according to Sgt. Vincent Grieco of Troop D.

"An investigation revealed that Lally was attempting enter on Interstate 93 South from the 393 West ramp when he failed to the navigate the ramp, exited the roadway, and traveled across both travel lanes of Interstate 93, striking the center median guardrail," Grieco said. "Upon striking the guardrail, Lally vehicle re-entered the roadway, blocking both lanes of travel."

During the investigation, Grieco said, "it was discovered that Lally was operating while under the influence." He was charged with DWI and an open container violation.

I-93 was shut down for a short period of time to remove the vehicle.
