CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire State Police will be work with local police to conduct another patrol targeting intoxicated drivers. The next "DWI saturation patrol" will be held in the White Mountains — specifically, the Lincoln and Woodstock areas — this coming weekend. The patrols will be held between 9 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 3 a.m. on Sept. 22.

"A review of records has shown that the use of alcohol by individuals, who operate motor vehicles, has resulted in a consistent number of deaths and personal injury accidents," said Staff Sgt. Victor Muzzey of Troop F. "The number of driving under the influence arrests made in Northern, NH continues to be high."

Muzzey added that state police will work with local law enforcement to be "visible and proactive" during the autumn months — "especially during the 2019 Highland Games."
