Salem Carjacking: Police Ask Public's Help

Salem police said a man carjacked a driver at gunpoint along Route 28 over the weekend.

SALEM, NH -- Salem police on Thursday asked the public's help identifying the suspect who carjacked a driver at gunpoint on Route 28 over the weekend. A store security camera captured an image of the suspect, shown above. The suspect used a black pistol to threaten the driver and take control of the driver's black sport utility vehicle on Saturday, October 13.

The suspect dropped the driver off near the Manchester line then dumped the vehicle in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

Anyone with information is asked to call Salem police at 603-890-2393.
