Montclair Police: 2 Cars Stolen, Recovered In Newark

Montclair detectives recovered two cars stolen on the same night "parked and unoccupied" in Newark, authorities said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair detectives recovered two cars stolen on the same night “parked and unoccupied” in Newark last week, authorities said.

The Montclair Police Department released the following information about each incident:

  • Nov. 9 - (Prospect Avenue) “Theft of a white Mercedes Benz S550 from the driveway of a home. This vehicle was located within hours by Montclair detectives, parked and unoccupied in Newark.”
  • Nov. 9 - (Greenview Way) “Theft of a black Mercedes Benz E30 from the driveway of a home. This vehicle was located within hours by Montclair detectives, parked and unoccupied in Newark.”
