BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — State Sen. Troy Singleton is partnering with Walmart, UIH Family Partners, and Barberz Inc. to provide free haircuts during an annual Back-to-School Haircut event on Saturday, Aug. 31, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Haircuts are for all residents in the 7th Legislative District, which covers Beverly, Bordentown City, Bordentown Twp, Burlington City, Burlington Twp, Cinnaminson, Delanco, Delran, Edgewater Park, Fieldsboro, Florence, Moorestown, Mount Laurel, Palmyra, Riverside, Riverton, and Willingboro. The haircuts will all take place at two Barberz locations:
  • 2005 Mount Holly Road in Burlington; and
  • 609 Beverly Rancocas Road in Willingboro.

“I want to thank Barberz Inc., UIH Family Partners, and Walmart for partnering with me on my annual Back-to-School Haircut event,” Singleton said. “Having a fresh haircut is just as important as having new supplies on the first day of school, and will help to give kids the confidence they need to start off the school year.”

In addition to his annual haircut event, Singleton has led other events this summer to help prepare children for the school year. His office ran a school supply drive to collect supplies and backpacks for Burlington County children in need.

He also partnered with Oaks Integrated Care for his August “Serve with Senator Singleton” event, where he and other volunteers helped to sort and stuff backpack donations for their “Operation Fill-A-Backpack.”
