East Orange Man Fatally Shot In Newark: Police
No arrests have been made, Essex County prosecutors said Thursday.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — An East Orange man was fatally shot in Newark on Wednesday night, authorities said.
Marquis Forman, 27, of East Orange, was shot on the 700-block of Springfield Avenue at 7:42 p.m., according to a joint statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Emergency responders transported Forman to University Hospital. He was pronounced dead at 8:19 p.m.
