NEWARK, NJ --UPDATE: Olivia Martinez was found on South 17th Street in Newark on Saturday. She was unharmed, police said. Our original article follows below.

Newark authorities are asking for the public's help finding a missing 12-year-old girl.

Olivia Martinez, 12, was reported missing on Friday, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

Martinez was last seen at 8:15 a.m. at Camden Street School. She is described as 5 feet 4 inches and 110 pounds with a fair skin complexion, dark brown hair and brown eyes (see below photo). She was last seen wearing burgundy sweatpants with white stripes, black Jordan sneakers with a colorful shirt.

Martinezis known to frequent the area of Georgia King Village and South 12th Street, police said.
