Newark Police Need Help Finding Missing Girl, 16
"We seek the public's help in quickly locating her so she can be returned to her family," Newark police said of the missing teen.
NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a 16-year-old girl reported missing last week.
On Tuesday, the Newark Department of Public Safety announced it’s asking for help locating Za-ahira Jimenez, 16, of Newark.
Jimenez was reported missing from the 100-block of Dewey Street on Saturday, Sept. 28, authorities said.

“While police are actively searching for Za-ahira, we seek the public’s help in quickly locating her so she can be returned to her family,” authorities said.
Police said Jimenez is Hispanic/black, 5 feet 10 inches and 115 pounds. She has a light-brown skin complexion, blonde hair, brown eyes and a birthmark on the back of her neck. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants and a pair of Vans shoes. (See below photo)
