Minette's Angels Foundation To Hold Awareness Walk In Verona Park

VERONA, NJ — The following news release comes courtesy of a Verona-Cedar Grove community member. Learn more about posting announcements or events to your local Patch site.

Minette’s Angels Foundation invites all to join our Inaugural Walk in the Park, September 29, 2019 in Verona Park, Verona, NJ. For 15 years, Minette's Angels Foundation has supported breast cancer patients and survivors. We also promote breast health awareness, which is vital to saving lives and offer three annual college scholarships. Registrations and donations can be made online at MinettesAngels.org. Cost for Adults $30, Children 12-18 years $15 by September 24th and day of Walk adults $35, children $20.

Minette's Angels relies on the dollars raised to help breast cancer patients who live in our extended community. Sponsorship Opportunities are also available. Honorary Chairpersons are surgeons from The Center for Breast Health & Disease Management at Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center: Dr. M. Michele Blackwood, Dr. Elissa J. Santoro, Dr. Sarah S. Schaefer, and Dr. Janette H. McDermott; Pat & Barbara Filoso, Owners of Hillcrest Farms, and Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr., Essex County Executive.
