Nick's Pizza In Forest Hills Gets High Praise In Barstool Review
The Forest Hills pizza spot snagged a good rating from Barstool founder Dave Portnoy as part of his "One Bite Pizza Reviews."
FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Beloved Forest Hills eatery Nick's Pizza garnered high praise in Barstool's popular series "One Bite Pizza Reviews."
The blog's founder, Dave Portnoy, gave the Queens pizzeria an 8.4/10 rating in a review posted online last week.
"That's really good when the char comes off on your hands like that, that's a good sign," Portnoy said as he sampled a slice of the thin-crust pizza with fresh mozzarella.

Portnoy stopped by the pizza joint on the recommendation of a Barstool fan, who called it the city's best pizza and criticized some of Portnoy's past reviews — without naming names.

Portnoy discussed the pizza's merits with an unnamed passerby, who identified himself as an Italian-American from South Brooklyn and decided on an 8.8/10 rating.

His review didn't go unnoticed by the fan who suggested Nick's in the first place.
"Just saw ur review on Nick's," the man tweeted. "Nothing but respect for u sir."
