PHILADELPHIA — We love our Philadelphia Eagles and football in general here in and around Philly.

But how much do we love football compared to other cities across the United States as we gear up for the Super Bowl?

Well, the folks at WalletHub crunched the numbers and figured out where we stand among other cities' and their football passion in its list of 2020's Best And Worst Cities For Football Fans

WalletHub compared more than 240 U.S. cities with at least one college or professional football team across 21 key metrics. The data set ranges from number of NFL and college football teams to average ticket price for an NFL game to fan friendliness.

With all factors considered, Philadelphia was ranked No. 9 in WalletHub's list of the best cities for professional and college football fans. Among large cities, defined as having more than 300,000 people, Philly was ranked No. 8.

Philadelphia was also tied for fifth with Minneapolis for having the best performing NFL football team.

Conversely, Philadelphia was one of the worst cities when it comes to access to its football stadium, Lincoln Financial Field. Philly was ranked as having the fifth least-accessible stadium.

We also scored poorly on ticket prices, coming in again at the fifth highest average ticket price.
