The WORLD'S LARGEST Wawa is now open, its debut marked with a parade. Yes, a parade. See what all of the hype is about:

PHILADELPHIA – Wawa diehards, take note: The largest Wawa in the world is now open in Philadelphia.

The new 11,500-square-foot store opened Friday, Dec. 14 in Old City, at 6th and Chestnut streets.

The gigantic store, which is located at 150 S. Independence Mall Way, opened with much fanfare and celebration, including a parade. Yes, a parade.

The grand opening event also included remarks from Wawa officials and Mayor Jim Kenney, a hoagie making contest, free samples, and more.

Oh, and you can get free coffee at the new location through Sunday, Dec. 16.
