RHODE ISLAND — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for all of Rhode Island ahead of another round of snow late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, leading to a potentially nasty morning commute. Some areas could see as much as four inches of snow, with lower accumulation expected along the coast.

Flakes are expected to start flying late Tuesday night following some rain, continuing until around 12 p.m. on Wednesday. It's too early to tell if it will be enough to cause any delays or cancellations. The National Weather Service said to plan for slippery roads on the morning commute, when snow may still be "falling moderate to heavily" in the area.

Accumulation will vary across the state, with inland areas like Coventry and Providence likely to see three to four inches, while the East Bay and along the coast will likely have less.
