Another incident initially categorized as an aggravated robbery occurred on Oct. 16 at 1:45 p.m. at 709 W. 22nd St., campus police said in a press advisory. University police responded to the West Campus Liquor Store to assist in an investigation in conjunction with their Austin Police Department counterparts, according to the campus police advisory. But the victim stopped cooperating with a police investigation after the suspect was located, and detectives determined the incident was sparked by a disagreement during a drug transaction. Given the student's lack of cooperation, the suspect subsequently was released without being charged, police said.

And late last year, police said two UT-Austin students were robbed in two separate incidents. Officers responded to a report of a robbery involving two UT-Austin students at 9:20 p.m. along the 1900 block of San Antonio Street near Martin Luther King Boulevard, according to a campus advisory. Ten minutes later, police responded to a second robbery call at San Antonio and 21st streets, police said. It was in that vicinity that police were able to locate the two suspects matching the victims' description who were placed under arrest, police said.vOne of the students in that incident sustained a scratch from the knife used in the robbery, but did not require medical treatment.
